In 2013, Legrand had invested a substantial amount of money in transforming an old warehouse space into a 115-seat conference room. Unfortunately, the technology portion of that transformation was clunky and unreliable to use. Employees were avoiding the room, cramming into often overbooked spaces to collaborate and consistently frustrated. In January of 2019, Legrand leaned on ITologist to work with leading product specialists in the area to develop an overhaul of their equipment setup and capabilities. By April of 2019, the room was modernized, adding multiple layers of interactive capability, including one-click touch panel control, wireless mirroring of any device onto multiple screens that span the width of the room, interactive surround sound audio, smart lighting and dedicated wireless VoIP phone capability, to name a few. In doing this project, ITologist was able to save Legrand nearly 25 thousand dollars versus going with a competitors alternative ‘boxed solution.’ The room is now consistently used without issue and acts as a blueprint for future upgrades to other conference rooms at Legrand Syracuse as well as other locations through the United States.
